As a true display of community partnership, the event is held in collaboration with the larger community wide event “Celebrate New Britain". For The Prevention Palooza portion of the event, the Local Prevention Council (LPC) takes over the Community Stage for a segment of time with LPC partner program highlights and youth group performances. This is an impactful community wide event dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of substance use prevention and positive mental health. Attendees will receive local prevention resources and get to interact with community programs.
