Lights On Afterschool has been celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families, and communities nationwide since October 2000. The Afterschool Alliance organizes Lights On Afterschool to draw attention to the many ways afterschool programs support students. This year, with the support of the American Savings Foundation, we celebrated Lights On in New Britain with an evening of music, food, and fun!
