Launched in October 2000, Lights On Afterschool is the only nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families, and communities. The Afterschool Alliance organizes Lights On Afterschool to draw attention to the many ways afterschool programs support students. In October 2020, New Britain Youth Prevention worked with Axim Design to run a month-long social media campaign focusing on the testimonies of afterschool program providers and participants. Here, you can see all of the content we shared to highlight the wide variety of programs available to students in New Britain!
